Terms & Conditions
Orders. All sales are final. there are no refunds,
exchanges or cancellations. When you receive your tickets, please keep
them in a safe place as tickets cannot be replaced, reprinted or
reissued. Downtown Tickets.com will not issue exchanges
or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged
or destroyed tickets, treat your tickets as cash.
Event Cancellations. If an event is postponed, such
as a MLB rainout, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date, we
are not able to issue refunds or exchanges for events rescheduled by the
venue. New tickets will not need to be issued. If an event is
cancelled without a rescheduled date, you will receive a full refund for
the amount that you paid for the tickets once the tickets are returned
to our company. Please contact us prior to shipping any tickets back to
our company for a return authorization number and mailing address.
Authorization numbers will be issued up to 10 days past the cancelled
event, requests for refunds after this time will be considered invalid.
Any shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Shipping. All ticket orders are shipped via FedEx to
the billing address of your credit card via your chosen shipping
method. FedEx deliveries require signature, if no one is present to
receive the package FedEx will leave a "Door Tag" to instruct you to
contact FedEx for pickup, redelivery and or indirect signature options.
FedEx will attempt 3 deliveries and if not contacted return the package
to Downtown Tickets.com. Returned packages will be subject to a $40 redelivery fee for US packages and a $50 redelivery fee for non-US Packages as Downtown Tickets.com
is billed for the return shipping charges as well as the secondary
shipping that will be made to you. Failure to accept and or be present
to sign for your package is not ground for buyer order cancellation.
Most orders received prior to 4pm EST are processed the same business
day in which they are received. Orders placed after hours will be
processed on the next business day. All in stock tickets will ship same
day to buyers whereas orders received for tickets to an event where the
venue has not printed the actual tickets will ship immediately upon
arrival to our office thus the FedEx method selected via checkout should
be viewed as a detailed description of the service type Downtown Tickets.com
will utilize when shipping your tickets and not a direct indication of
when your tickets will arrive. Please note sporting tickets purchased
prior to the start of the season generally ship to buyers 15 days prior
to the start of the season. NASCAR, Concerts, Playoff and Special Event
Tickets will generally ship 10-30 days prior to the event date, this is
due to the fact these venues do not print and ship their ticket packages
until 30 days prior to the event or season. Keep in mind all orders are
100% guaranteed to be delivered in a timely fashion.
Shipping Costs. Shipping costs are presented during checkout. These vary based on shipping type, destination address and speed of delivery.
Service Fees. Service fees, when applicable are
disclosed during the checkout process. These fees, although nominal
allow us to market, develop and monitor our web business. Service fees
represent our expenses related to securing, inventorying and offering
such a vast majority of tickets at the web’s lowest price in a safe and
secure manner.
Order Confirmation Process. Orders are
generally confirmed via receipt same business day, upon receipt
confirmation your order is guaranteed. Occasionally, the tickets you
order may no longer be available at the time your order is received. If
equivalent or better seat locations are available at the same price, and
you have chosen to be automatically upgraded, we will fill your with
the alternative seat locations. If you are automatically upgraded, your
credit card will be charged at the time your order is received and you
will be contacted for notification of your new seat locations. If you
have not chosen to be automatically upgraded, a Downtown Tickets.com representative will utilize equal or upgraded tickets to fill your order, no additional fees would apply.
Ticket Listings & Notes. Downtown Tickets
guarantees all section and rows to be accurate within all ticket
listings. Noted listed within the ticket listings, such as "Seats on the
50 yard line", "Team A’s Sideline", "Behind Team A’s Bench" is to be
used as reference only and is not guaranteed to be an exact
representation of the seating location, these are venue variables that
are always subject to a change. Although every effort is made to ensure
accuracy of these notes; venues, team layouts, NCAA Bowl and Tournament
sidelines and bench locations are commonly adjusted to reflect school
ticket demands and are always subject to change. When placing your order
we would recommend you contact the venue, school, team, and reference
the seating chart provided within the ticket listing to ensure the
accuracy of the notes. Under no circumstance are we able to refund
exchange or cancel a ticket order due to a venue layout change or change
or team sidelines, such is common in NCAA Bowl Events.
Disputes. If there is any dispute about or involving
the Site, by using the Site, you agree that the dispute will be
governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to its
conflict of law provisions. You agree to personal jurisdiction by venue
in the state and federal courts of the State of Maryland, City of Ocean
City.
